How the hell did I make it on All-Stars?
Last season I made one confessional, didn't really have all that great of a social game, and was on a train wreck of a tribe for the first couple of tribals. But I'm not going to complain, and instead just smile and make the best of the opportunity I've been given.
So this first couple of days have been interesting. I've been watching a lot of people who I don't know argue, lol. The only people I'm even remotely familiar with are Anna (on my season), and Kate (who was Lady Gaga my season) but even they are strangers to me essentially. I'm already annoyed at Bobby, Jill Tuck, and Grandma. Everything they post is just so pointless, catty, and childish. </3
That being said, I eventually got placed on the Crystal Lake Tribe, and earned $50 for the store or whatever that is going to end up being. I don't know if that is a lot cuz I'm afraid to ask everyone else what they got. lol.
Now for a movie nerd tangent: The Friday the 13th films are WAAAY better than the Nightmare on Elm Street films. I finished watching all in each series the other night with my roommate and have to say that while the Nightmares are so boring and never really creative, the Fridays managed to revel in their terribleness to the point that they become so so so so amazing. Every single one has a redeeming quality, be it a kill, funny character, or amazingly schlocky dialogue. Besides Jason Goes to Hell, that is seriously the worst movie I've ever seen, lol. A majority of the Nightmares are so dull, with terrible lead characters and Robert Englund trying WAY too hard as Freddy to make him funny. And bad deaths. Ok, movie nerd tangent over.
Here's my tribemates:
Aiden Keller from The Ring
Annie Wilkes from Misery
Beth Salinger from Hostel: Part II
Brenda Meeks from Scary Movies 1-4
Erin Hardesty from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Grandma from Feast
Jennifer Check from Jennifer's Body
Jennifer Tilly from Seed of Chucky
Kate Roberts from Scream 4
and me, Lawrence Talbot from The Wolfman.
Overall, I've seen a majority of these films and am going to go rent the rest first thing, just like I did last time. I like to do my research. I've only talk to two of them:
Annie - Seems kind of great. Really nice, funny, and apparently a great competitor according to J-Tilly. Someone that I could see being a good person to align with, but I haven't spoken to enough of my tribe just yet to start thinking like that.
Jennifer T. - A little difficult to talk to, but that sort of comes with the territory on a first meeting with someone. Isn't being mean, but has that sort of awkward, neither of us knows what to say feel. Hopefully we'll both open up more in the future.
That's about it for now, but I'm excited to play my hardest and hopefully take this whole things. Oh, and please make the first challenge an identify the horror movie challenge.
